Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Moccia's Train Stop, Inc. ("Moccia's Train Stop," "we," "us") collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our website and online inquiry system are operated for us by Qued Studio, which handles this information on our behalf.

What we collect

• Information you send us. When you use the catering inquiry or contact form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number (catering form), event date, guest count, type of event, the topic of your message (contact form), and your message.
• Technical details sent with a form. With each form request we also record your IP address, your browser type, the page you sent it from, the website that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, from a social media post). We use these to block spam and to understand how people find us.
• Basic visit records. Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to run and secure the website.
• Advertising measurement (Meta). This website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. Unless ad tracking is off for your browser (see "Your choices"), it sets cookies and tells Meta which pages you visit and when you tap our phone number, click an "Order Online" button, or send an inquiry, along with technical details such as your IP address and browser type. What you type into our forms is never sent to the pixel.

How we use it

• To answer your question, plan your catering order, or follow up about your request.
• To keep the website and our inquiry system working and to protect them from spam and abuse.
• To understand which pages and links bring people to us, so we can improve the website.
• To measure and improve our Facebook and Instagram posts and ads, and to show our ads to people who may be interested in Moccia's.

We do not sell your personal information. We do share limited information with Meta to measure and show our ads, as described in this policy, and you can turn that off at any time (see "Your choices").

Who we share it with

• Qued Studio, which operates this website and the system that stores your inquiry, delivers it to our staff, and notifies us when a new one arrives, including by email. Qued Studio uses its own service providers for hosting, automation, and email delivery to do this.
• Vercel, which hosts this website.
• Meta Platforms, through the Meta Pixel described above, under Meta's own privacy policy. When ad tracking is on and you send an inquiry, Qued Studio also tells Meta that an inquiry was received, with your name, email address, and phone number converted into a coded form (hashed) before they are sent, your IP address and browser type, and Meta's browser identifiers, so Meta can connect the inquiry to our ads. Your message and event details are not sent to Meta.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

How we protect it

Forms are sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and inquiries are stored in an access-controlled system that only our staff and Qued Studio can use. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, but we limit who can see your information to the people who need it to respond to you.

Cookies and similar technology

The Meta Pixel sets advertising cookies (named _fbp, and _fbc when you arrive from a Facebook or Instagram link) unless ad tracking is off for your browser. If you arrive from a link with campaign tags, the site keeps those tags in your browser's session storage for that tab only, so they can be included if you send a form. The site may also keep a small note there so the same inquiry is never counted twice. Both are cleared when you close the tab.

Other services this website connects to

• Online ordering. The "Order Online" buttons take you to GetOrdering, a separate online ordering service. Orders, payments, and any account you create there are handled by that service under its own privacy policy.
• Google Maps. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google, which may set cookies and collect information when the map loads.
• Social media and reviews. Links to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Google reviews take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries for as long as we need them to respond and for our normal business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices

• Access, correction, or deletion. To ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it, call us at 610.287.9866 or write to the address below.
• Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• Ad tracking. We do not load the Meta Pixel, or send Meta anything about your inquiry, when your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. You can also turn ad tracking off for this browser below; this stops the pixel and removes the Meta cookies this website set. You can review your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
